We are regular folks who recognized a connection between our food, our community, and our underlying health and wellness — and decided to do something about it.
Five reasons we show up every single day.
Family farms aren't just businesses — they're a way of life, a living connection to the land, and the backbone of real communities. When a family farm disappears, something irreplaceable is lost. Farmooly was built because we refuse to let that happen without a fight.
The soil doesn't just grow our food — it's where livestock E.A.T.S. too. Healthy soil filters our water, stores carbon, and sustains everything above it. The farmers and ranchers who care for it are doing some of the most important environmental work on earth. We champion them.
Food grown locally and harvested fresh hasn't traveled millions of miles to reach you. That difference is real — in taste, in nutrition, in how your body feels. Farmooly connects communities to the kind of food that actually nourishes, not just fills.
We're building the app people reach for first — the moment they want local food, farm-fresh products, or anything that makes their life healthier and more fulfilling. The Amazon of local food, but with a down-home soul that never loses its warmth.
Universities, schools, hospitals, and restaurants need local food in volume. Farmooly is becoming the go-to wholesale platform connecting institutions with local farms — so the supply chain for real food doesn't stop at the Saturday morning market.
Founder of Farmooly
My wife, Jeannie, and our six kiddos love our annual Christmas tree farm hay rides, pumpkin patch visits, and tasting good country cookin' from wholesome food found at our local farmers' markets.
After a visit to a sheep dairy farm in Maryland, I knew I wanted to do everything possible to help family farms succeed. My hope is through this Farmooly venture, our farmers and ranchers will once again have an opportunity to sell their food to a much larger percentage of our population yearning for quality produce, meat, and dairy.
At the same time, our land and Earth will improve as more and more farms and ranches choose to practice sustainable and regenerative methods of agriculture.
Our Farms, Our Land, Our Health.
This isn't a side project. It isn't a tech play dressed up in farm imagery. It started with a gut feeling — standing on a sheep dairy farm in Maryland — that something was deeply broken, and deeply fixable.
Family farms are closing. Soil is getting depleted. Supermarket food has traveled so far from the field that it barely resembles what nature intended. And the people who need real nutrition most — families, kids, whole communities — are eating what's convenient instead of what's nourishing.
Farmooly is our answer to all of that. We want to be the platform that connects every farm, ranch, and local food vendor to every person and institution that wants what they grow — not just at the farmers market on Saturday morning, but every single day. Through pre-orders, wholesale to schools and hospitals and restaurants, and a community that genuinely cares about where their food comes from.
Our Farms. Our Soil. Our Health.
When local farms thrive, everyone wins — from the farmer to the family to the future of our land.
Modern tools to run and grow a farm business — at the market, online, pre-order, and wholesale — without giving up margin to middlemen.
Shorter supply chains, regenerative practices, less food waste, and land stewarded by families who care deeply about what they leave behind.
Schools, hospitals, restaurants, and universities accessing local food at wholesale scale — real food reaching the people who need it most.
Whether you're a farmer, shopper, market operator, or institutional buyer — there's a place for you in the Farmooly ecosystem.
